American River Water Polo Club’s 2026–2027 Boys 14u/16u/18u Winter Competitive program offers high-level training and game experience for motivated male athletes. Description

We are excited for our winter 14u/16u/18u boys competitive teams. Our goal is to compete in both regional & national championships through the years, and winter is a the beginning of that foundation. Attendance is very important to the success of each team, athletes who play through winter will be considered for our competitive travel teams.

Practice schedule:
As we receive registrations, we will begin to form our practice groups and announce where each group will be closer to the start date. Below is all potential practice times for athletes:
Mondays and Wednesdays
18's: 7:15p-9:00p @ American River College
16's: 7:15p-9:00p @ Rio Americano High School; 5:30p-7:15p @ American River College; 3:45p-5:30p @ Rio Americano High School
14's:  5:30-7:15p @ American River College

No practice December 21st-January 3rd

Program cost: $495 early registration prior to November 15th (Fee will increases to $545 after November 15th)

Kap7 Travel Tournament: January 30th & 31st, travel tournament (for which the team will need to travel out of the area and spend the night) will be planned as far in advance as possible and only athletes participating will be charged a tournament trip fee (to cover entry fee and coaches' costs).

Participants need to be USA Water Polo members to play in games and practices with

other clubs.  Athletes only interested in improving at practice within our club will be

covered by our private insurance that we have secured for all Winter Program

participants.  USWP membership will still be required for any athletes participating in

tournaments/games.
