Summary

American River Water Polo Club’s 2026 Fall Youth League runs September 13–October 18, 2026, at Rio Americano High School. This coed program is for youth ages 5–13 (no high schoolers) with some prior swim experience. Players will learn water polo fundamentals, improve swimming skills, and enjoy a fun, safe, and team-focused environment.

Description

Come join us for some fun in the sun over Fall on Sundays! Expose your kiddos to the fun of water polo, in a safe, learning positive environment. Unlike our competitive programs, our youth league focuses on the basics at a slower pace, giving space for athletes to understand some of the important mechanics like eggbeater treading, holding and throwing a ball, learning whistles and rules, and many more movements important to the game of water polo. Then on our game days, athletes get to put those skills together and play on a team.

Pool location: Rio Americano High School - 4540 American River Dr, Sacramento, CA 95864

Start date: September 13th; End date: October 18th

Practices:
Sundays - Youth (typically ages 11-13) 11:00a-12:15p, Noodle Ball (typically ages 5-8) 11:45a-12:30p, Micro (typically ages 8-11) 12:30p-1:45p
athletes may move around groups based on their ability and what would best fit their needs

Game Days:
October 4th & October 18th; athletes will meet at their usual practice time.

Sibling discount: Sibling discount can be applied automatically if registering all kids at the same time (if you have already set up an account with your kids prior). Full price for first kid, 20% off for the next registered, 40% for a third child registered, etc.
