American River Water Polo Club is fortunate to have such a committed group of community members who serve on our Board.  Our Board of Directors is largely comprised of members who have had athletes come through our programs or believe in our mission to teach young athletes life skills through sport.

Our Leadership

American River Water Polo Club's mission is to improve the quality of water polo throughout the Sacramento Area and to compete in and win National Championships.  This shall be accomplished by providing programs year round to develop players of all ages and abilities.  Beyond water polo skills, the programs shall instill discipline, teamwork, commitment and confidence in our athletes.

American River Water Polo Club is committed to providing the best instruction from the most basic fundamentals to more complex team concepts.  We are committed to enabling each and every athlete to improve daily by providing structured practices that work on specific skills and pushing our athletes to the highest level of competition.  American River is one of the few clubs in Northern California who competes regularly on a national level and has coaches that are all great role models, mentors and students of the game. 

Many of our coaches coach or have coached regionally, nationally and internationally.  We at American River Water Polo are committed to providing the best instruction in the region.
