2026 Summer Youth League

Summary

American River Water Polo Club’s 2026 Summer Youth League is a recreational co-ed water polo program for ages 5–13 (no high schoolers). Players should have some prior swim experience. The season runs June 15–July 17, 2026, at Rio Americano High School, and focuses on skill development, water confidence, teamwork, and fun in a safe and supportive environment.

Description

Come join us for some fun in the sun over summer on Mondays and Fridays! Expose your kiddos to the fun of water polo, in a safe, learning positive environment. Unlike our competitive programs, our youth league focuses on the basics at a slower pace, giving space for athletes to understand some of the important mechanics like eggbeater treading, holding and throwing a ball, learning whistles and rules, and many more movements important to the game of water polo. Then on our game days, athletes get to put those skills together and play on a team.

Pool location: Rio Americano High School - 4540 American River Dr, Sacramento, CA 95864

Start date: June 15th; End date: July 17th
NO PRATICE JULY 3rd

Practices:
Mondays & Fridays - Youth (typically ages 11-13) 6:15p-7:30p, Noodle Ball (typically ages 5-8) 5:30p-6:15p, Micro (typically ages 8-11) 6:15p-7:30p
athletes may move around groups based on their ability and what would best fit their needs

Game Days:
July 10th & July 17th; athletes will meet at their usual practice time.

Noodle Ball: $95
Micro and Youth: $175

Sibling discount: Sibling discount can be applied automatically if registering all kids at the same time (if you have already set up an account with your kids prior). Please reach out to calebrobertsonarwpc@gmail.com before registering if you have to register your kids one at a time to receive your sibling discount code. Full price for first kid, 20% off for the next registered, 40% for a third child registered, etc.
